Sending mails | Receiving mals
Sunday, 17 August 2014 @ 20:00 | 0 Comment [s]
Last Friday, I was supposed to send some letters in mail and courier service. The person in charge there then asked me "You are Khaizureen kan? There is a letter for you, but you have to take it personally from Pos Malaysia."
I have to collect the letter on that day, or else the letter will be return to the sender. So with the helps of some friends, I managed to collect my letter. Phew. Luckily my friend was going somewhere near the post office so she could help me.
I also helped my friend, going to LHDN to settle some agreement issues for new students in Curtin. These students are required to "matikan setem hasil" whatever it is called in English, haha and send the agreement to MARA for further process.
Then, we also went to Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah because these new students need to certify their documents, also for MARA agremeent as well. I went back feeling tired, and slept early since the next day I had to wake up early.
Money and Time Challenges
Sunday, 10 August 2014 @ 21:39 | 0 Comment [s]
This is my second week working in Sugarbun. I enjoy working there and I also enjoy studying all four units this semester. This week I am about to settle 2 payments which cost almost RM400 for academic and another RM450 for house rent.
Currently I manage to organise my expenses so everything is on track. This is one thing that I learnt all semester - how to manage my money. You know sometime you realised that you must spend wisely but at some moment you forget and just buy anything you want which is something not important at all.
The next challenge that I will surely have to face is on how to manage my time. Everyday we were given the same 24 hours but not all day I spend each hours wisely. When I have free time, sometime I don't know what to do but sometime I have a lot of things to do but I don't have much time.
Tomorrow I am going to attend one lecture, and meet some friends for many kinds of purpose such as selling book, buying calculator, meeting for Open Day 2014 and many more. Hopefully I can cross check all my to do list for tomorrow. Smile!

I went to CIMB this morning to bank in my cheque. One cheque from MARA and another one from Nuffnang. I have lots of things to pay this month. An online learning fee cost 45.90 Aussie dollar (Around RM150), a RM185 finance calculator, 2 months rental and bills. I need around RM1000 this month.
I also bought some groceries and stamps. I have some letters to be sent to some friends. Miri is surrounded by some and haze. I can see it clearly. Some friends are having flu and cough due to the bad weather.
I have a lot of homework for next week classes now. This week I manage to get all textbook that I need, either borrowed from library, given by friend or just make photocopy of the pages that is needed.
Hoping next week will be awesome :)
Here I Am In Miri
Saturday, 2 August 2014 @ 21:24 | 0 Comment [s]
I have safely landed in Miri Airport last night. I actually have some plans of asking for anyone to fetch me to Senadin. Last minute, I decided to just use a taxi. When I reached Miri Airport, there were another 3 flights arrive at the same time. Passengers were rushing to the taxi coupon counter to book a taxi and I didn't manage to get a taxi. So I have to ask my friend to fetch me.
I even bring some toys for my betta fish :)
And today, early in the morning I went to Sugar Bun! Meeting old friends and working part time. It extremely tiring since I have just touched down and early in the morning I have to wake up to work in a fast food restaurant. My house mates are still in peninsular of Malaysia so I stay with my juniors now.
p/s Class will start this Monday and I am looking forward to start my new semester :)

In a plane,
"ladies and gentlemen, we have safely landed in Miri Airport. Thank you for choosing Airasia..bla3"
Finally I touched down in Miri Airport. I checked my phone, wrote a message to the taxi driver who was going to fetch me.
Arrived ady, :)
*Beep beep* Message received.
Will be there at 9.00 pm
Okay. Now where should I go? I put my luggage into a trolley and push it towards the lobby. When I reached the main entrance where relatives and taxi drivers waited for their passengers who had just arrived, I smiled, they were so lucky.
I keep pushing my trolley and suddenly I saw a poster, where my full name was there.

You know, something like this
I looked closer, smiled wider.
My friends! They arrived in the same airport earlier but waited for me. One day before was my birthday and they made this surprise to me. Some video recorded. Haisss. And here was my birthday present from them.
I won't forget my 20th birthday because of this of course!
Away For Several Days

Assalamualaikum :)
Hi everyone, I have been away for awhile. This week was a very busy week as there were a lot of assignments submission and tests. I realised that I need to work harder for the final and I should start now as final is just around the corner.
Where was I?
I was in Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang for two days and one night. I was joining a camp for post-SPM students as a facilitator. It was my first experience becoming a facilitator for a leadership camp.
How was it?
It was awesome. One week before the camp, I knew that I will need to be very responsible. Since it was a leadership camp, I should posses my own leadership skill first.
What does the college looks like?
The college is very big. There are combination of old buildings and new one. It looks almost similar to how the previous Kolej Tunku Kursiah is before it moved to other building.
What does the students look like?
The students were very super-duper-hyperactive. They have a very strong teamwork. Personally I believe that this is the most important memory I had in this camp- the students.
Soon, I will upload the pictures if I am free later :)

Assalamualaikum :)
Today is Friday and I have no class. Luckily. The whole week has been very packed. Starting from last Saturday, I have visited Kampung Muhibbah for a motivational camp. It was a very tiring camp since the students participating the camp were EXTRA MEGA HYPER SUPER DUPER OVER ENERGETIC. I only have a pair of hands hence what can I do to fulfill numbers of students' requests? They are very incredible.
On Sunday, we went back to Curtin and had long rest. On Tuesday, we had our Raya Celebration at Kampung Masjid Kuala Baram. I didn't plan to fo anywhere that day, not even Raya Prayer, honestly. The celebration was awesome since we celebrated it with the villagers. I got to know more local people and got to know more kids. Again. Kids are tiring, I thought I was a very cute silent kids when I was young. LOL
We have classes on Wednesday and Thursday on today after submitting one assignment, I have the chance to open my blog and do some blogwalking. I don;t know how those working married people have time for blogging, family and work. Mind to share? Hehehehe. I know, its TIME MANAGEMENT right? -.-

Assalamualaikum :)Yesterday was also a busy day. I spent whole morning to finish my Accounting assignment as our group were given second chance to show our work. We collaborated in Google Doc to finish the work. Around 1 pm we met the lecturer and luckily we were given full mark. After consulting the lecturer, I rushed to my Business Law class. Business Law class was a very long class. I took 3 hours to finish. I went back home, had my dinner and went back to the campus. I had a meeting for camp this Saturday. The meeting was made to prepare our team before making our move this Saturday. The meeting ended at 9 pm and followed by the second meeting, my Management meeting. I led the group but I had made everyone from my group to be responsible to lead at least one meeting each. That night I was late for the meeting because I had put one friend to be responsible to lead it no matter with my presence or not. I joined the meeting around 9.10 pm and they were still waiting for me. "I HAVE TOLD U GUYS TO PROCEED IT FIRST!" then I burst into small anger in the most nice way so that they won't feel my negative aura. Lol. Overall, the meeting run smoothly.
I am learning more "life" day by day.

Assalamualaikum :)
I have a stressful week now. Last Monday I have submitted an assignment. Last Wednesday, I had to present our second progress report. To be true, we didn't make any meeting to finish our task. Until the night before presentation, I made the task all by myself but I didn't manage to finish everything. One of my friend also try to attempt the question. Our leader was having some problem so without asking from other team members, I made myself as the leader. I had been a leader for Management subject since Tuesday, and on Wednesday I added one more responsibility to myself. I did't have time to think and meet with them anymore. It was no more about team this time, it was about my own personal individual mark.
When I went to the presentation day last Wednesday, only one group member was there with me. The leader has some serious problem and another group member is missing. I don't know where he was. Our presentation was bad. The lecturer gave us a chance to come back the next day to show our work 100% finished. I was so happy that he gave us the chance. I know I deserve second chance and I will definitely use the chance wisely. That night I worked hard. I showed to all group members in Facebook all documents from Google Doc and told then that they were allowed to edit the document with me. But I personally didn't hope anything from them. It was last minute work so I did them myself.
I had planned that for the next progress report, I will lead the group wisely but for this time, I had to do anything possible as soon as possible. I believe that it is our fault as a team. It is not the leader who is guilty. We as a team should always support and help each other from the beginning of time. We should change our attitude :)

Assalamualaikum :)
Hi and hello everyone. Since my last post (7/10) I have been busy for awhile. I even publish auto-published scheduled entry for Sketch of Life for one week. On Tuesday (8/10), I had a class in the morning. When I went back home in the afternoon, my friend told me that she is going back to KL due to sickness. I was shocked. We have some group assignments that need to be finished in this week but she had to go back to her hometown.
She met me in my room and kept asking forgiveness. I thought, she is not guilty. She is sick and she needs treatment. I shouldn't assume that she is the one who is guilty in this case. I had to accept what had happened. Okay. I slept for several hours and woke up 2 hours before the next class. I prepared some materials for next class and made my way to the campus again. I expected that my lecturer is going to talk about assignment today and I could feel depression when I entered the class. And she did, talk about the assignment. Sigh.
Everyone in my group did not want to be a leader for the assignment. I had been a leader before so I think it is fair to give chance to everyone to lead a group. No one even volunteer themselves. Feeling very sad, I decided to be the leader. We had been in the same group for some assignments and I led all group. Don't they think that it is not fair? I have my own commitment as well. Well, as my aunt said before, I am not the one who will regret because I took chance to be a leader but not them. So, it is totally up to them. I don't want to bother anymore.

Assalamualaikum :)
I have class at 8. After class, I have my breakfast in the campus. I spend most of my time in the campus today. Moreover, I am able to connect my phone to the Wifi in my campus so I can access to Internet most of my time in the campus. I have no need to subscribe for any weekly broadband on my phone anymore. It is very convenient.
I am not sure but I think Insidious 2 his now available. I would like to watch it in the cinema but my girl friends don;t really like to watch horror movies. I think I should fine a group of friend who can accompany me to watch the movie. It is not possible for me to watch the movie alone. I just want to watch the movie because I have watch the first one.
There are many assignments submission due this month. Hence I have to work more on them. There are also some quizzed and tests will be conducted this month. This month is going to be a hectic month for us. And next month is going to be more crazy than this month. I hope I can cope with all tasks and responsibilities.
I still have the problem of high desire of being alone all of the sudden. if at 2pm I can laugh and talk loudly with friends, it is possible at 2.05pm I suddenly want to be alone and keep silent. Sometime my friends become angry with me because I don't want to talk. I just don't know how to explain this feeling. Seeking calmness symptom?

Assalamualaikum :)
I planned to do my laundry today. However, from last night until this evening, it rains heavily. I can't even place my cactus under the sun. I am happy with the cactus that I have just bought. I named the cactus as Tony as the cactus have thorns. It has a pink flower that will bloom every morning. It is very interesting how the cactus can make my day.
Today I call my mother and my father. I think I haven't call my father for almost one month. Time flies very fast. It is almost the end of September. There are around 2 months left before going back to Johor. I miss Johor very much. AirAsia has made a lot of promotion but since I don't know the exact date of my semester break, I haven't buy any ticket. Its too early.
I want to go to the campus today but I do not have any transportation as today is public holiday. Usually Monday is the day where I prepare my entire week schedule. I will go through notes and revision on Monday before starting class on Tuesday. As my classes are only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Tuesday is my Monday and Thursday is my Friday.
I cook for dinner today. I haven't cook for several days so I feel a little awkward. I hate the stove. It does not work well. Sometime I can't turn it on. Imagine if I have a half-cook meal in my pan an the stove can't be turned on. What happen to my dishes? We have just replace the old stove before so I don't think so that we can replace it again now.

Assalamualaikum :)
Finally we reach the end of Augus 2013. It was a very fast journey. I still remember those days when I was helping my grandmother in her food stall earlier this year, Followed by the day I went back to Miri on March to continue study. Now, I realised that I have finished my foundation studies and already in degree life.
To Malaysia, I would like to wish happy independence day. It has been 56 years. May Malaysia always be independent forever. The youth should appreciate this and understand what the meaning of Merdeka in their own way.
Let's see what happens on August 2013. Earlier this month, I have started my degree majoring accounting and finance. One week after having my first class, I went back home for raya celebration. On the fifth day of raya, I went back to Miri and continued my classes as usual. The last week of August, I was busy doing some assignments until I didn't realise that I have reach the end of August. :)
I have been in my first year first semester for around one month I believe that I can survive this semester. I do have problems and I think about it everyday but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy my degree life. Now, I am having free week and still planning what I should do for this entire week. Suggestion?

There is one of my lecturer, who loves to describe things with picture. He will draw on the whiteboard when we have no idea what he is talking about. And I redraw what he drew on the whiteboard.

Found this little baby while walking from Business School to the main building. Pity little snake. I think it was accidentally reaching the floor and don't know how to get back to the bush. I don't think so that I will help it. Phobia phobia phobia.
It was shaping itself into "S". From what I know, "S" means it wants to attack something. However, it remains stationary like a stone. My friend guessed it was defending itself but not attacking because it is still baby.
To dear mummy snake, please take your baby back and don't disturb us :) we come in peace.

Assalamualaikum :)
Currently, I am thinking on how to celebrate this eid-ul-fitr in the campus in a moderate way. Maybe I should wear baju kurung everyday during the Syawal month? *bad idea* I seldom wear baju kurung here. Maybe at least once a week will be fine.
