Remembering my school memories, one of them were my trip to the National Reading Camp which enlightens me the importance of reading. During my primary school, reading books is one of my hobby besides collecting stamps.
Entering high school, I have tried to read some novels but I finish none of the novels but "Remember Me" by Sophie Kinsella. That was the only novel that I manage to finish when I was in high school. Other novels, I stop in the middle of the story.
When I start to be forced to read textbook, I have to use my own effort to get extra reading to finish my assignment, I feel that I wanted to read some story book. So I started to search some interesting story books in Curtin Library.
In choosing what book to read, I don't only prefer a book with good reading, but I will also concerned on how the book looks like, the cover page, the weigh of the book, the size of the book, and most importantly, how the paragraphing of the book.
I won't read books with big pages, small margins, a lot of words in one page. Unless the book is a popular classic book that does not have any new edition printed. So for now I am going to read The Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine. The book is about a girl with asperger whose brother has just been shot in school.
I don't know yet the conflict of the book because I have just started reading it.
