First Day Of New Semester

Last Sunday I shopped some groceries. Just onions, garlics, chilli, enough to make simple meals. I hope it is enough for two weeks meal. When I reached home only, I realised that I forgot to buy toothpaste. Oh how am I suppose to brush my teeth! Wear my tudung, run to a nearby shop and buy one!

And this morning, the first day of semester started. As usual, on the very first day I accidentally met new student who were very friendly asking many things in the shuttle bus while we were on our way to the campus.

I actually rushed to the library this morning to search ALL textbooks that will be used this semester before all copies taken by others. Yay for me cause I managed to grab all copy that I needed.

Luckily I have rented a locker in the campus so I just put all my belongings, textbooks and all other heavy things in my locker before proceeding to the student service office cause I need to check my scholarship allowance and renew my student pass.

Then I went to the ICT centre and reload my printing credit, run to a computer lab and print all lecture notes that I need for this week. Mission accomplish and I walk peacefully to a lecture hall, for my first lecture today.

The first day was quite busy, plus many new students were queueing so long in student service to pay fees, rents, and many more. Luckily not so many students queueing in scholarship counter and international counter.

Not to mention, the haze is hitting Miri, just an S size of haze, I can't see the haze but I can feel the temperature. People who has asthma were wearing the face mask in campus today. I hope the weather will be fine on the following days.

Hello. My name is Khaizureen but my mother once wrote my name as Dzureen when I was kindergarten, which is actually the combination of Darwis and Khaizureen, where Darwis is my father's name. When I grew up, I wrote my name as Dzureen Darwis in social network or DD in short but nowadays I am writing my real name in social network.

This blog is actually inspired by my mother who is so excited to know that her daughter is going to further her study in Miri, Sarawak and thought that it is a good idea for me to keep a journal. However, I am still writing in mess now, no regular journal or whatever so just random entries updated in this blog once in a while.
