Reading is Love

Imagine one assignment needs numbers of books. This picture above shows 8 books used for one assignment.No one can expect me to read from the first page until the end of the book because I didn't. But I have to refer to these books. I enhance back my reading mood. Since I was in secondary school, my interest in reading reduces. Now, I have the interest back because I read what I do really curious about. That is why it is important to choose a course that I do really prefer most.

These are some reasons that causes me to fall in love back with the reading culture.

It is not exam-oriented purposes. In school, I have to read from A to Z. For university life, for exam purposes it is more to what the lecturers said in the lecture theater. What I read is not compulsory and is flexible. If I dislike books from certain publisher or author I can always search for other books. In school some teachers prevent us to use other reference books because it might have difference sillibus comparing to the official textbook.
I can borrow up to 8 or 10 books in one time for two weeks. I even borrowed 3 books for more than 2 months, I kept re-borrowing them because I have never feel enough reading them. When I was in school, I think I can only borrow at most two books for one week. With a lot of home works of 10 subjects, I seldom finish reading the books I borrowed.
I can go to the library anytime. Freedom is a very big gift I received upon finishing my school life as I have been in boarding school for 5 years. As long as I know how to manage and control the freedom given to me, I think I am still on the right path. I can go to the library whenever I like as long as it is office hour. I don't have many classes in one day so I have much time to stay in the library.

On future, perhaps in July, the new library is opening so I think my passionate in reading will become stronger. Thank you to Curtin Sarawak Library. :)

Hello. My name is Khaizureen but my mother once wrote my name as Dzureen when I was kindergarten, which is actually the combination of Darwis and Khaizureen, where Darwis is my father's name. When I grew up, I wrote my name as Dzureen Darwis in social network or DD in short but nowadays I am writing my real name in social network.

This blog is actually inspired by my mother who is so excited to know that her daughter is going to further her study in Miri, Sarawak and thought that it is a good idea for me to keep a journal. However, I am still writing in mess now, no regular journal or whatever so just random entries updated in this blog once in a while.
