Week 01

This is my first weekly review of my second foundation semester. I listed out some events or things that I have done during the first week here. I have done this before during my first semester and I think it is fun to write about it.

1. I have joined CYA Campt as a facilitator. My tasks was taking care of the participants during shower time and sleeping time. It looks funny but it was really my task during the camp. Sometimes accident or injury can happen in shower room and emergency actions are needed to handle such situation. However, nothing serious happen for this year camp.

2. I have started some classes and I am looking forward to enjoy my journey in this new semester. Some assignments have been assigned to us and some lectures have also started discussing the first chapter.

3. I have joined severeal clubs because I want to enjoy my entire semester before starting my degree. The most interesting club for me is the music club. I don’t know why but I think I can release my tension and enhance my right brain activity by playing musical instruments.

4. Earlier this year, I joined an association named CYA Advisors but I only met the members in Facebook only. Now, I have finally got to know them better when we went for a dinner after finishing the CYA Camp.

Physically, I haven’t manage to set my biological clock yet because earlier this week I have to stay up late for the CYA camp. I think my biological clock have never working in good condition but practice make perfect right? I always try to sleep at 11.30pm even though sometimes I am not sleepy yet.
Mentally, the first week has given me a lot of pressure due to some problems but I have to go on no matter what happen. It is even harder to overcome those problems because I am staying fay away from the loved ones – my family. There are no one else will solve my problems if not me. I am growing older now and my parents are not going to pamper me right?

Hello. My name is Khaizureen but my mother once wrote my name as Dzureen when I was kindergarten, which is actually the combination of Darwis and Khaizureen, where Darwis is my father's name. When I grew up, I wrote my name as Dzureen Darwis in social network or DD in short but nowadays I am writing my real name in social network.

This blog is actually inspired by my mother who is so excited to know that her daughter is going to further her study in Miri, Sarawak and thought that it is a good idea for me to keep a journal. However, I am still writing in mess now, no regular journal or whatever so just random entries updated in this blog once in a while.
