Last Sunday, I have a last-minute-planned trip to Bintulu. Initially, I decided not to join the trip but three days before the trip I decided to go. So we started our journey at 9 and reached around 12. The trip objective was to tighten the relationship between facilitators and participants of the previous CYA Camp.
Along the journey, it reminded me to the long road connecting Batu Pahat and Mersing. Both roads are surrounded by the palm trees and other trees. Not many houses were found and there were no road lamp along the way
The different is that the Batu Pahat-Mersing road is crooked but the Miri-Bintulu have mostly straight road. Besides, there were a lot of bumps along Miri-Bintulu road but and I am seriously shocked. I was so sleepy but I just can't sleep as the car bounce every 5 minutes.
The gathering was set at a beach named Tanjung Batu. Again it reminded me to Mersing, where there is a school named SK Anjung Batu. The event started at 12 but my friend and I follow one staff to her house for performing prayer first.
When I reached, the food was ready and we eat some before started to go to the beach for games. After games we played at the beach. I was planning on not going to make my cloth wet but no one was successfully ended the games with dry cloth.
At 3, some of us started to go shower and change our cloth and we went for dinner at nearby restaurant. Around 6, we started our journey back to Miri. We only reached Miri at 9 o'clock and we felt very tired. I slept early that night and woke up late the next morning.
It was a memorable trip for me :)
