The Day I Reached Miri

23rd March

I reached Miri at 7.00 pm and took a taxi to go to Curtin Villa. After checking in, I left all my things without unpacking them. I took shower and straightly went to bus stop. My friend and I will be taking care of some students of secondary school that night.

There was a camp held in my campus for school students started 23rd March and that first night, I was in charge to stay up, in case there are students fall sick or sleepwalking. However, nothing happen on the first night.

24th March

It is Sunday! I went shopping with my friend. We went Bintang Mall at 12pm and went back home at 5pm. Around 6pm we went back to campus as we were in charge taking care of the students. It sounds funny but we were in charge accompanying the students to the shower.

I could see that the facilitators were very dedicated to the students. Even when they were having shower we took good care of them. That night I slept at home. The next day became the first day of my new semester so I slept soundly that night.

Hello. My name is Khaizureen but my mother once wrote my name as Dzureen when I was kindergarten, which is actually the combination of Darwis and Khaizureen, where Darwis is my father's name. When I grew up, I wrote my name as Dzureen Darwis in social network or DD in short but nowadays I am writing my real name in social network.

This blog is actually inspired by my mother who is so excited to know that her daughter is going to further her study in Miri, Sarawak and thought that it is a good idea for me to keep a journal. However, I am still writing in mess now, no regular journal or whatever so just random entries updated in this blog once in a while.
